In 1998, Shy found out she would be the mother of an African American male child. She wanted him to discover his world differently. She developed a curriculum that was based on positive affirmations, strong parental involvement and a creative outlook on problem solving. Signing Day. SAM tests in the top 15% on the ASVAP to be officially accepted into the military. He's Airforce bound.
