Youth Community Garden

We are excited about our Youth Community Garden. Our kids have been growing fresh fruit and vegetables for a decade. In our community for generations our loved ones have suffered from heart attacks, high blood pressure, cancer and diabetes. We are using our knowledge of growing from seed to harvest to help change the future for our area kids. We have a proactive approach to understanding health and healthy choices to try to eliminate generational diseases.
Our weekly classes are fun and informative. Each week the youth learn about what makes a garden grow. Our ultimate goal is to grow great kids that grow great food. We are looking for great volunteers to help our youth maintain healthy learning environments. Fill out our membership application to become a mentor. Our youth celebrate their accomplishments by participating and selling their plants at area festivals and markets. This is our (YES) Young Entrepreneur Society.
